Stepping Stone School featured in cover story of ChildCare Exchange Magazine

AUSTIN, TX, February 21, 2017 – Stepping Stone School is featured in the cover story in the January/February 2017 issue of ChildCare Exchange Magazine, the leading national publication on early care and education. The three-page story outlines founder Rhonda Paver’s vision and Stepping Stone School’s programs, philosophy and mission.

“We are deeply honored and grateful to be recognized by ChildCare Exchange and

we would like to extend our thanks to all the families who, through their support, have made this

wonderful accolade a possibility,” said Rhonda Paver, Stepping Stone School owner and founder.

Paver founded Stepping Stone School in 1979 after her own search for quality, educational childcare for her family came up short of her expectations. In November of that year, the family purchased a daycare that was going out of business, moved in and opened its doors for business.

The organization has grown steadily, all the while maintaining its high standards. The original school, located in Austin’s Crestview neighborhood, is still one of Stepping Stone School’s most popular. The newest school is slated to open in May 2017 in the Plum Creek neighborhood of Kyle, Texas. Stepping Stone School’s 19 locations have the capacity to educate and care for 3,489 children.
